A power socket strip, is a set of electrical sockets which is plugged into the nearest main power socket through a flexible cable. Power strips are used when the required number of sockets is more than available sockets or due to the long distance, it is not possible to connect electrical equipment to the available sockets.
According to electrical standards we cannot have more consumption than what electrical designer considered for each outlet or socket line. But if total currents of multi power socket strips is less than predicted current, so in emergency cases we can use a suitable power socket strips.
Application: Mobile work, travel, mobile phones, laptops and lamps
Note: In most of old buildings (with old electrical design) power socket strips are one of the most essential home appliances.
