Filling station is a unit which designed to fill extinguishing cylinders. Gas cylinder are filled from the tank or other cylinder.
Filling station types:
- Inert gas filling station from tank (CO2, Argon, Nitrogen, IG01, IG55, IG100, IG511, IG541, INERGEN)
- Clean agent filling station and recovery / recycle with mixing inverter (NOVEC1230, FM200, HFC227ea)
- Dry chemical powder transfer unit
- Halon / Halotron recovery / recharge system
Necessary equipment for filling stations:
- Pneumatic vise: for holding and clamping of cylinders.
- Weighing scale (electronic): for weighing the cylinders during the filling operation.
- Storage tank
- Pump
- Station for preparation of cylinder / cylinder dryer / blower: to purge cylinder by gas before filling operation (cleaning with nitrogen and reduce the moisture)
- Inspection light
- Air compressor
- Dust collection system: for dry chemical powder filling
- Regulators
- Hydrostatic test system for cylinder
- Fire hose hydrostatic test system: for testing the hoses of gas extinguishing system.
