121: Type Designation Code For Fiber Optic Cables

Type designation codes (marking) of fiber-optic cables according to DIN VDE has a below structure with 14 sections. Each section indicates one of the cable specifications.

  • AT - Outdoor cable, divisible
  • U - Universal cable for outdoor and indoor use (also as A/J)
