Fête Blanche in French means white party. A ceremony similar to the Dîner en blanc (Dinner in white) in France and perhaps derived from it!
In Fête Blanche, people gather together dressed in white clothes to celebrate a party all in white! This celebration is held in most provinces of Austria in different sizes in summer season. It is often held at prominent urban locations, but sometimes even in small parties and friendly picnics!
The most famous place to hold this celebration in Austria is Lake Wörthersee (Kärnten).
