Fire blanket:
Fire blanket used as a fire extinguisher in the early stage of the small fires. When the blanket is placed over a fire, oxygen does not reach the combustible material and if the blanket lasts in the heat, the fire will not continue and will be extinguished with cutting the oxygen supply. Fire blanket made of a fire retardant material.

Material:
- Wool covered with fire retardant fluid, woven asbestos fibers
- Fire retardant (Non-flammable) material: Glass fiber, Kevlar
Notes:
- Some fire blankets can even withstand up to 900 °C.
- Fire extinguishers must be selected according to fire classes and standards. Read the instructions on the fire blanket to make sure that they are suitable for your intended fires. For instance some fire blankets are not suitable for extinguishing the oil fire!
