The official currency of Austria in different periods was as follows:
- 1919-1925 => Krone (K)
- 1925-1938 => Schilling (S or öS, ATS)
- 1938-1945 => Reichsmark (RM)
- 1945-2002 => Schilling (S or öS, ATS)
- Austria adopt the Euro on 1 January, 1999
- After 3 years transitional period, Schilling ended on 28 February, 2002.
